Four days away from Exhale Beau Monde West Spa the spa experience to benefit Starkey, Inc.! There are still a few spots left! Founded in 1930, Starkey, Inc. is the oldest community-based nonprofit in Sedgwick County serving people with disabilities. They create possibility in the lives of more than 500 people with intellectual disabilities through a wide range of business, employment, residential, life enrichment and case management programs.
Starkey is always in need of groups and individuals to volunteer for events and for day-to-day happenings in the organization.
Starkey history: The Founder, Hattie Starkey, believed that all children could learn, including those who had developmental disabilities. Her Starkey School was the foundation for the organization today, and the administrative offices are still in the former school built in 1967.
